WASHINGTON, Oct. 13 — Israel’s air attack on Syria last month was directed against a site that Israeli and American intelligence analysts judged was a partly constructed nuclear reactor, apparently modeled on one North Korea has used to create its stockpile of nuclear weapons fuel, according to American and foreign officials with access to the intelligence reports.

..."There is no Axis of Evil, there is no Axis of Evil." That Syria was building a North Korean-designed nuclear reactor, not long after taking delivery of "cement" from a North Korean ship, while at the same time North Korea has been promising to dismantle its nuclear program -- why, that's all just coincidence. That Syria is nuke-pursuing Iran's Mediterranean proxy is also mere coincidence.

And some of them are in awfully powerful or influential positions, which is why Mark Steyn is wondering why no Cold War-style "Long Telegram" outlining official American policy has come out of the War On Terror.
