I recently had a conversation with a liberal friend about the economy. I noted the many, many straight months of job growth despite natural disasters and high energy prices, to which my liberal friend replied, "yeah, but what kind of jobs are they?"Of course, one of the huge drags on the economy is out of control taxes and spending, especially by Blue State governments. I just had a great telephone interview with Steven Malanga of City Journal about his new article on New Jersey's fiscal profligacy. Watch for that podcast to go online, later this week.
